Main Applications:
- Binder for various refractory materials, featuring strong bonding strength and high temperature resistance (1500–1600℃).
- Applied in coating industry to enhance coating durability, with anti-fouling, dust-proof, anti-aging and fire-resistant properties.
- Used for thin-shell precision casting. It delivers high shell strength and superior casting surface finish. Molds made with it outperform water glass molds; replacing ethyl silicate can cut costs and optimize operating conditions.
- Silica sol has a high specific surface area and can be used for catalyst production and as catalyst support.
- Applied in paper industry: anti-blocking agent for cellophane, pre-treatment agent for photographic paper, anti-slip agent for cement bags, etc.
- Sizing agent in textile industry. When combined with oil agents to treat wool and rabbit hair, it improves spinnability, reduces yarn breakage and fly waste, raises finished product rate and boosts economic benefits.
- Used as silicon steel sheet treating agent, dispersant for picture tubes, anti-slip additive for floor wax, etc.
Shelf Life: 1 year for alkaline silica sol; 6 months for acidic silica sol.Storage & Transportation: Store and transport at 0–40℃. Protect from freezing and direct sunlight.
